The city was busy and we enjoyed the journey.<\/p>\n<p>When we arrived we met Donal, the gardener, who took us on a tour of the park. We learned to identify trees such as oak, horse chestnut, holly, birch, beech, and elder. Each tree had a different shaped leaf.\u00a0We collected conkers\/horsechestnuts, acorns, berries and had a great time learning outside in the sunshine and fresh air.<\/p>\n<p>When we got back to school we did some leaf rubbings with the leaves.
