{"id":2436,"date":"2023-03-01T15:05:07","date_gmt":"2023-03-01T15:05:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.georgeshillschool.ie\/?page_id=2436"},"modified":"2026-02-18T10:41:42","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T10:41:42","slug":"early-intervention-asd-class","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.georgeshillschool.ie\/?page_id=2436","title":{"rendered":"Early Intervention and Autism classes"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p><strong>Autistic Spectrum Disorder Early Intervention Class<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In PPS George&#8217;s Hill we currently have 2 primary aged autism classes and 1 Early Years autism class.<\/p>\r\n<p>Our Early intervention AS Class caters for children aged 3 to 5 who have a diagnosis of autism. The child must be over 3 years of age on entry and cannot be 6 years of age in their final placement. There are 6 places in the early intervention class with many children spending two years in the class. As a result, the number of places available may change on an annual basis.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Referrals are made by the parent\/guardian and can be dropped in to our school or emailed to principal@georgeshillschool.ie.
