On Tuesday the 23rd of February 6th Class went on their special retreat to Mt. Saint Annes in County Laois. They enjoyed singing, dancing, meditation, a prayer service and a beautiful springtime walk in the woods. A great day was had by all, here are some photos to prove it…

Christmas Shoe Box Appeal 2015!
This Christmas 5th and 6th class helped Team Hope by creating shoe-boxes for children living in poverty around the world. We got shoe-boxes from home and filled them with nice things such as clothes, soaps. toys, sweets etc. When every box was ready we wrapped them in Christmas paper and brought them down to Toymaster so they could be checked and delivered all over the world. It was a lovely feeling knowing that we had changed some children’s Christmas for the better. Here are a few pictures to show you how much fun we had…
A Trip to the Ilac Library!
5th and 6th Class recently visited the Ilac library to attend a presentation by author Pauline Hall and illustrator Alan Nolan. The girls enjoyed a series of clerihew poems based on thirteen remarkable Irish women from Nora Barnacle to Lady Jane Wilde. They got a glimpse into the work of an illustrator and even had a go at illustrating the famous Irish designer and architect Eileen Grey. A wonderful experience!
