Our History
P.P.S. George’s Hill was first established in 1766 by Teresa Mulally. These were very hard times because Ireland was under English rule and the Penal Laws were in force. Before long Teresa had 100 girls attending the school. Later Teresa set up a boarding school at George’s Hill. Two Presentation Sisters came up from Cork to assist her. They were sent to Dublin by Nano Nagle in 1974.
